Welcome to the Citizen Ho Podcast.  Episodes are listed below.  Each week Scott Horowitz and Kevin Kane will banter for about an hour about the happenings of the week in technology, pop culture, and whatever else may strike our fancy.

Jun 26, 2015

Scott and Kevin mark the show's 20th episode with....  more of the same (it's their specialty).  Since the guys neglected to follow their own show run last week and forgot to recap the Silicon Valley season finale, they did it this week.  They also descussed the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare, the official removal of Brian Williams as the anchor for NBC Nightly News, Whole Foods overcharging (more) for certain foods, and Screech's jail sentence.  Of course we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.  Last week, Scott was ahead 13-7....

Jun 20, 2015

This week's episode was recorded the day after the shootings at a Church in South Carolina, so Scott and Kevin devote some time discussing those events.  This of course also brought up Jon Stewart's reaction, which led to more pleasant topics, the ever widening field of Republican presidential candidates, the coming update to the ten dollar bill, the release of Jurassic World, and Scott's recent trip to Yankee Stadium, during which his 12 year old nephew out argued him, while Kevin's wife's grandma sets a new podcast record.  Of course, we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.  We think last time, Scott was ahead about 11-6....

Jun 5, 2015

Scott & Kevin welcome our first guest to the show, Mr. Ken Crossland, Kevin's former podcasting partner in BS & A Beer.  The guys discuss this week's biggest news topic Caitlyn Jenner, the fired lunch lady, the evil iPhone text message, the (possibly more evil) Duggars, and the release of Google Photos.  Of course we recap Silicon Valley, and we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.

May 22, 2015

This week, Scott and Kevin reminisce on the career of David Letterman (who finished his final show the night before we recorded).  Then we reminisce on the tale of Elian Gonzalez, some Nintendo nostagia (thanks to their hiring of Mr. Bowser), and discuss Red Nose Day and the strange smell of the red nose Kevin's wife got near the subway.  There is a Silicon Valley recap and a round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.  When last we left the boys, Scott was ahead 11-6.  What will this week bring?  Mysteries abound....

May 15, 2015

This week, Scott and Kevin discuss the new Muppets TV show, Yogi Berra's 90th birthday, the current status of religion in the US, more importantly the cancellation of American Idol, and the Verizon acquisition of AOL (which brings on some old memories of the early days on the Information Superhighway).  We recap the latest episode of Silicon Valley and play another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies!  After last week, Scott's lead was down to 10-6, so we'll see what happens now....

May 8, 2015

In this week's episode, Scott and Kevin discuss the Governor of Texas' actions to defend his sovereign state from the Obama takeover (yes, we're serious).  In other news, Al Qaeda figures died, Prince William and Duchess Kate have another newborn, and we pass our condolences to Sheryl Sandberg.  We also recap Silicon Valley and the Comedians and naturally, we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.  Last week, Scott had pulled ahead at 10-5, so we'll see if Kevin can make up some ground.

May 2, 2015

This week, Scott and Kevin discuss the unrest in Baltimore, the new Tesla home battery, and (more importantly?) the new Avengers movie, which Scott saw the night before we recorded and Kevin has not yet seen.  However, Kevin has seen the Audi commercial with Stan Lee and Kevin Smith.  The guys also recap last week's Silicon Valley and The Comedians, and play another round of We Don't Know Shit About movies.  Going into this week, Scott is ahead 9-5.

Apr 24, 2015

This week, Scott & Kevin discuss the new frog species that bears a striking resemblance to a certain Muppet, Coyotes on New York's Upper West Side, the White House killing terrorists, but also killing some citizens, the possible TV series based on the movie, Galaxy Quest, the new Full House spinoff and the most recent episode of Silicon Valley.  Naturally, there is another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.  The last round had Kevin gaining a little more ground with the score up to 7-5 (but still in Scott's favor.

Apr 18, 2015

In this week's episode, Kevin & Scott discuss what may be the future of cable television, make some early predictions about the 2016 election and some early impressions of the next installment in the Star Wars saga.  Scott tells a story about encountering a skunk, then tells of his encounters with Google's changes to Chrome.  The guys discuss the start of the NHL Playoffs, and the new Apple Watch.  Naturally, it wouldn't be a show without a round of We Don't Know About Movies!  We come into this week's episde at 7-4 in Scott's favor.

Apr 10, 2015

Since this episode falls during Passover, Kevin and Scott discuss their bread withdrawal, which is a perfect segway into the wedding being sponsored by Burger King.  Since Hollywood seems to be all about bringing back old shows lately, the guys discuss the return of the 1966 Batman show (in animated form) and the return of the Muppet Show.  Also the quasi return of the Golden Girls (in Lego form).  On the new show front, we talk about The Comedians (the new show with Billy Crystal and Josh Gad) and the new season of Silicon Valley starting soon.  Of course, we finish with a round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies!
