This week, we have lots of Republicans (the debate and Ann Coulter) and the guys discuss Ahmed, the Clock Builder, Facebook's pending "dislike" feature, the new TV season, and the return of Turd Ferguson. Naturally, we finish up with a round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies!
Back from a self/baby-imposed exile (we hope), Kevin and Scott are back at it discussing the upcoming High Holidays, Stephen Colbert's first episode on CBS, the Apple announcement, the new football season, and (of course), everyone's favorite Kentuckian, Kim Davis and her attempts to redefine marriage (again). Kevin also discusses his latest adventures in parenting and the guys play a new round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies!
After a prolonged hiatus due to the birth of Kevin's son Max, the guys are back, albeit with a brief episode. Kevin recounts the tale of the birth of his spawn, and the guys play a new round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.
This week, Scott & Kevin discuss the unexpected success of this year's Yankee team, Kevin's unborn son looking like Dr. Evil in utero, the dearth of Hollywood remakes lately, the Emmy nominations, the latest group Donald Trump managed to piss off, and the pending release of Windows 10. Of course, it wouldn't be an episode without a round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies!
This week, the guys discuss some of the events at International Comic Con, the Iran deal, Letterman's brief return to the stage, 7 Days in Hell, and the death of Roger Rees. Of course, they finish things off with another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.
Scott recaps the hellish week he had, and then in the "other bad stuff" category, the guys discuss Donald Trump's realtionship with the Latino vote, the Confederate Flag in South Carolina coming down, the latest news in the Bill Cosby saga, and the new Jared Fogle saga. On the more positive side, Harry Shearer is returning to The Simpsons, and a Broadway show had an interesting audience member. Of course, there was another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies! Will Scott's 14-7 lead be shaved down?
As this week's episode was recorded on July 4th, Scott and Kevin celebrate our country, 'Merica! Since last episode, The Supreme Court rules that Same Sex Marriage was legal in all 50 states, so that gave us a reason to celebrate. On the other hand the guys discussed Donald Trump's latest comments as a presidential candidate, a SNAFU on Google Photos, and a recap of Ted 2 (Scott and Kevin saw it the night before recording), and Amazon's list of banned items (among them Confederate Flags). Of course, there was another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies!
Scott and Kevin mark the show's 20th episode with.... more of the same (it's their specialty). Since the guys neglected to follow their own show run last week and forgot to recap the Silicon Valley season finale, they did it this week. They also descussed the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare, the official removal of Brian Williams as the anchor for NBC Nightly News, Whole Foods overcharging (more) for certain foods, and Screech's jail sentence. Of course we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies. Last week, Scott was ahead 13-7....
This week's episode was recorded the day after the shootings at a Church in South Carolina, so Scott and Kevin devote some time discussing those events. This of course also brought up Jon Stewart's reaction, which led to more pleasant topics, the ever widening field of Republican presidential candidates, the coming update to the ten dollar bill, the release of Jurassic World, and Scott's recent trip to Yankee Stadium, during which his 12 year old nephew out argued him, while Kevin's wife's grandma sets a new podcast record. Of course, we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies. We think last time, Scott was ahead about 11-6....
Scott & Kevin welcome our first guest to the show, Mr. Ken Crossland, Kevin's former podcasting partner in BS & A Beer. The guys discuss this week's biggest news topic Caitlyn Jenner, the fired lunch lady, the evil iPhone text message, the (possibly more evil) Duggars, and the release of Google Photos. Of course we recap Silicon Valley, and we have another round of We Don't Know Shit About Movies.
